PicTarot is Pictoplasma’s character spin on all things mystical.

Iconic creatures from the stars of contemporary character design reveal their secret powers and tell your fortune. Following the logic of Aleister Crowley’s Tarot, the 22 cards of the Major Arcana, with motifs such as The Devil, The Emperor or Fortune help you find answers to your most secret questions.

The PicTarot is accompanied by a detailed booklet, including 5 divinatory card laying patterns, each card’s secret meaning, instructions on how to play Tarot de Marseille, and an introductory history on the origin and misunderstanding of Tarot cards.

Gloomy Bear Harness Edition

Japanese graphic designer Mori Chack’s bloodthirsty icon Gloomy Bear, a giant, pink, violent bear that attacks humans is back and his appetite for viciousness is bigger than ever!

Mori Chack begun his career as a street artist, selling original character postcards and stickers on the streets of his hometown of Osaka. His other creations include Podolly, the infamous sheep in a wolf’s clothing, and Kumakikai, a robotic Gloomy Bear with rockets for feet. Chack’s trademark deceptively cute characters serve to express his personal brand of satirical humor and commentary on the world’s contradictions and social issues. He currently lives in Tokyo.

Charuca’s 4th Anniversary!

Spanish artist Charuca it’s celebrating this month her studio’s 4th anniversary! For the last four years she has created amazing character design, toy design and illustrations. This year Charuca has been very busy launching a beautiful back to school collection (featuring a wide range of notebooks, backpacks and school supplies accessories), participating in multiple events promoting her brand through Europe, and designing her new spring 2010 kids clothing line.

In November, Charuca was part of the BloodSweat Vector art show in Berlin, were she showcased a beautiful print titled “The Kawaii Big Bang”. This month she was also interviewed by RED 17 magazine; where she shared with the readers her teenager memories, favorites celebrities and gave advise on how to become a successful designer.
